The Application Nexus Code of Conduct emphasizes core values and adds force to our culture. It helps us in ethical decision making and carrying out day to day responsibilities. Our Code of Conduct is intended to supplement, sets forth fundamental principles and key policies and procedures that govern the conduct of all of us in our business. We expect all of our employees to know and follow the Code of Conduct. Also it is essential that trust and mutual respect underlie our success, and we need to earn it every day. Conflict of interest:
We will always act in the best interests of Application Nexus. A “conflict of interest” exists when a person’s private interest interferes in any way - or even appears to interfere - with the interests of the Company. A conflict situation can arise when a person takes actions or has interests that may make it difficult to perform his or her Company work objectively and effectively. Our employees are expected to act in the best interests of company and to exercise sound judgment by personal interests or divided loyalties. Both, in the performance of our duties for company and our outside activities, we seek to avoid the appearance of, as well as an actual, conflict of interest. If in doubt about a potential conflict, speak with your immediate supervisor, manager, another member of management, your Human Resources Person. Freelancing and dating at work are some examples of conflict of interest.

- Health and safety: We are committed to a violence-free work environment, and we will not tolerate any level of violence or the threat of violence in the workplace. All health and safety laws are followed by Application Nexus. We believe that if our employee prospers so do we. Application Nexus provides complete benefits to their employees under ESIC. The goal of all occupational safety and health programs is to foster a safe work environment.
- Alcohol and drugs: Employees are not permitted to report to work or conduct business on company property or operate vehicles while under the influence of alcohol to an extent that leads to impaired performance or inappropriate behavior, endangers the safety of others or violate the law. Illegal drugs in our offices or at sponsored events are strictly prohibited.
- Positive work environment: If you believe you have been harassed by anyone at Application Nexus, you should immediately report the incident to your supervisor, Human Resource or both. Prompt and thorough investigation will be done for complaints with appropriate actions. We aim to provide a work environment that is safe, secure and free of threats and violence.
- Protection of assets: We wisely use and protect the assets of the company, including property (both physical and intellectual), supplies, consumables, and equipment. We use these assets exclusively for business purposes.
- Protection of Information: While working with open culture, Application Nexus understands the privacy of individuals working with organization is of utmost importance. While company does ask certain personal details such as medical records, nationality proof, work permits. The company cannot ask certain personal details as sexual orientation, personal financial details or family back grounds. Information collected for human resource purpose is classified as personal and private details. While personal details are available for processes company wide, private details are held only with human resource department. Such information cannot be used for any other reason than human recourse purpose without the prior approval of employee. The company encourages using its private corporate internet for communication purpose and have right to access entire information such as e-mails, chats, social network activities, voice mails when using company infrastructure such as computers, laptops, internet connection and smart phones. Application Nexus strongly encourages all of its employees to keep personal online activities separated from company infrastructure since Application Nexus cannot guarantee the privacy of a person on internet accessed using company infrastructure. While company do encourage it’s people to access social network site such as Facebook and Orkut it does so only to let its employee understand the social component of its product and in such cases company strongly encourages all of its employees to follow company’s code of conduct, social network sites, terms of use and all federal laws applicable.

- Carbon Neutral: Application Nexus adheres to all environmental legislation, regulations and all local laws to facilitate the protection of the environment. We have a process that ensures conformity to local regulations, including those relating to the handling, recycling, and the elimination and disposal of dangerous materials and to work actively to improve the environment and proactively to pursue any initiatives that bring about that improvement. Till 2012, Application Nexus targets to be a carbon Neutral company
- Philanthropy: Application Nexus believes that best things in world come for free. So we love to give periodic donations to many open source websites and NGO’s working for advantage of society.
Legal conformity
- Child labor: In principle, Application Nexus is against the use of child labor and believes its long-term elimination is ultimately in the best interests of children. However, the elimination of child labor must always be undertaken in a manner consistent with the best interests of the children concerned.
- Compliance with all laws: Application Nexus primarily works with United States, United Kingdom and other countries from European Union. While working with global demographics none of the case Application Nexus will work with the clients from the countries those are prohibited for trade by laws of United States and India. Application Nexus abides to follow all Indian civil laws, trade laws, import export guide lines, American federal laws, American civil laws and environmental laws of all possible countries. It is expected for all employees to understand these laws while working with company. In any case Application Nexus standards will be always higher than any permitted laws and it is expected from all its employees to work within the strict guidelines set by company and avoids activities those are considered legal by the law but not allowed by the company’s own principles and ethics. On the other hand if the situation arises where certain activities can be allotted by company but not the law of the country where business is executed than it is advised to put the law on priority before the company interest.
